Martyni Sportscars 23 awarded SVA

The Martyni 23 is now fully road legal.

Following the smooth exercise with the Vehicle Inspectorate at the Birmingham Test Centre, we at Martyni Sportscars are delighted to announce the Lotus 23 replica - with its unique monocoque chassis - has passed the SVA test and is now fully road legal.

The interest shown towards the vehicle by the Inspectors was most gratifying.

Our demonstration vehicle has subsequently been configured, taxed and insured for road use, and we have managed to retain the age related registration after satisfactory dialogue with the DVLA.

New Martyni 23 replicas are currently being constructed by enthusiasts in the Birmingham, Staffordshire and Kent areas, with additional interest in the vehicle being expressed from overseas including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Gernany and Russia.
